Jeremy “Unofficial Counselor” Leiviska

Jeremy has been our HR manager here at Gateway for over a year!  He spends his days running around and is always busy with something!  He is exceptionally organized and flexible, which is EXACTLY what we need with our crazy schedules here at Gateway.  Jeremy says he loves working at Gateway because of the GREAT people, truly wonderful owners, and the opportunity to affect change in the world!

What cartoon character do you most relate to and why?

Spiderman, as I am always intertwined in multiple situations. Using my spider senses to try and stay one step ahead of the situation.

Are you a good singer or do you only sing in your car?

I am told not to quit my day job.

Favorite movie?

Lion King (The Original). Because the good always wins or shines through.

Do you have a nickname? How did you get it?

Levi, they could not pronounce my last name while I was in the Marine Corps.

Does pineapple belong on pizza?

Absolutely! With Canadian bacon and jalapeños.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

Integrity laser, so I could get the straight scoop. Every story has three-sides.

What are you a “closet” fan of?

The TV show Oak Island on the History Channel.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Raw octopus

Can you cook?

I do most of the cooking in the house. From grilling to the kitchen. I am not much of a baker…However, when my wife cooks, she can do a great job!

What are 3 things still left on your bucket list?

Marlin fishing with my youngest boy; watching my two oldest graduate medical school; and being the best person, I can become!
